Solutions that Mother Earth has created are ingenious. It took our planet also few billion years to reach its current ingenuity level. We humans can profit from it by simply observing and replicating these solutions. Additionally, we can get inspired by resilience and originality around us.

This first video in the series "Inspired by Nature" sheds some light on ingenious solutions in Nature. It invites you to observe and find your packaging solution.

This introductory course covers the basics of the circular economy, including systemic change.

Circular business models not only help prepare entrepreneurs and existing companies for a circular, resource-constrained future, but they also help them better understand consumer behaviour and preferences in entirely new ways. Those of you who have taken my Udemy course or were students in my lectures as a Professor in Shenzhen, China know that I work with 10 Circular Business Models from “Forum for the Future”.

The theme of the four videos in the bundle is "The 9Rs". The 1st video informs us why we as circular entrepreneurs must consider the first R - Redesign - as the most important one. A 2nd video discusses why you should incorporate ideas from our ancestors. The 3rd video challenges you to rethink certain assumptions while the last video in the bundle invites you to take a closer look at the term "regeneration".

In this bundle, we cover the theory behind the systems thinking as a foundation of understanding the big picture. Please note that I will refer to this theory later in other sessions. The last video is dedicated to systemic change and potential resistance within the system. A series of questions can help you identify what are up against. Plus, the conversation with Bill Sharpe, the author of "The Three Horizons".
